Project Overview:

DivineTalk, a spiritual wellness app, partnered with us to improve product adoption and boost user retention. The goal was to design a product marketing engine that aligned with user intent, reduced drop-offs, and maximized lifetime value through better onboarding, in-app journeys, and remarketing flows.

Objective:

The primary objective was to create a performance-led product marketing system that improved onboarding, increased session depth, and kept users engaged long enough to convert. This included retention-driven creative strategy, funnel reworks, and channel-specific remarketing campaigns across paid and owned media.

Challenges:

  • High Drop-offs: Large percentage of installs never completed onboarding or activated spiritual sessions.

  • Low Re-Engagement: Most users didn’t return after day 1, and reminder flows weren’t converting.

  • Offer Complexity: Multiple session types and spiritual products led to friction in decision-making and conversion.

Design Process:

  1. Product Audit & Funnel Mapping
    Mapped friction points across onboarding, session start, and paywall flows.

  2. In-App Messaging Strategy
    Built targeted push + in-app prompt flows based on user behavior and session intent.

  3. Creative Positioning
    Refined product marketing assets to highlight clarity, benefits, and trust (e.g., testimonials, expert-backed credibility).

  4. Retention Campaigns
    Launched paid remarketing loops + CRM flows for drop-off segments (D0, D2, D7 windows).

  5. Offer Structuring
    Simplified offer tiers and tested copy variations that aligned with spiritual urgency and community pull.

  6. Performance Feedback Loops
    Delivered weekly feedback to product and CX teams to close gaps and improve activation.

Outcome:

The revamped marketing system transformed how DivineTalk engaged users post-install. Drop-offs decreased, conversion improved, and re-engagement campaigns generated a measurable lift in both session depth and revenue per user.
